Shalom Pita in Atlantic City, NJ Removes All Dairy, Now a Meat Restaurant
Technically in Ventnor City, NJ, a mile from Atlantic City, Shalom Pita, slightly more than a year old, has decided to switch it’s menu from dairy to meat.
It will still offer its vegetarian falafel and knishes, but will now offer a full deli and grill menu.
Shalom Pita offers free delivery service for orders in Ventnor or Margate, NJ.
Deliveries to the casinos in Atlantic City are avilible for orders over $50.00.
Shalom Pita is under the Orthodox Kashruth of Vaad Atlantic – The Vaad Hakashruth of Atlantic County.

For those of us who work all the way downtown in the financial district of New York, a kosher restaurant closing is a sad day. So when Essex on Coney Downtown closed, it reduced our options significantly.
Located approximately 45 minutes south of Albany, NY, a new Kosher Pizzeria has opened in Hudson, in Columbia County. The region is scenic and green, which makes the area an attractive location for NY area Jews in the summertime.
Earlier this week, an Israeli artist (Oded Hirsch) spotted something a bit fishy at the Associated Supermarket in Sunnyside, NY (Queens). Actually, it was a bit porky.
